USBC has the athletes and the programme but not the boat. Please support our men in their efforts to refurbish our Men’s 8+!
A winning opportunity not to be lost!
University of Surrey Boat Club (USBC) is more successful than ever:
- 5th fastest development men’s 8+ in the country
- Men’s 8+ qualifying for Henley Royal Regatta, 5 of the men were complete novices 10 months prior
- Representation at European Rowing Championships and wins at University World Rowing Championships (FISU)
We have a promising future which we cannot achieve without your help!
All Hands on Dick
We have our men’s 8+ called Dick (Douglas) Child, but it is currently unrowable and it is our immediate priority to get the boat up and running. Ultimately this will allow for more people to learn how to row and facilitate our boys from going from 5th to 1st in the country!
If we don't repair the men's 8, this is how we will be competing at Henley this year!!!
Ready, Steady, Row!
Our vision is to develop more world-class athletes in the process and have one of the most successful beginner squads in the country which sees athletes from complete beginners through to the GB squad. With your help, we will be able to make the men’s 8+ rowable which will allow for athletes to have this kind of progression!
