New stretch target

If we are able to push the limits, we would not only be able to pay every storyteller this year but also have the position of being able to push the boat out for next year's festival

The East Anglian Storytelling Fabulation are proud to announce

The VIRTUAL East Anglian Storytelling Festival.

Our festival may have been postponed, but no virus can keep a good story down for long.  On the festival's original date, 6th June, the stories will out!

Let our fabulous storytellers take you on a voyage of discovery to strange and undiscovered places every bit as magnificent as Cressing Temple Barns.  Turn your own kitchen, garden shed, or high ceilinged moothall into a palace filled with stories.

On June 6th  we will be hosting three separate events for your enjoyment

3.00 Sarah Rundle and Nick Hennessy tell family stories: for adventurous 8 year olds upwards

4.30  the great East Anglian Four Counties Story Slam: it will be thrilling, it will be fast-paced as storytellers from every part of the region contribute three minute stories in an attempt to win the coveted golden toilet roll for their county.

8.00 A Conversation of Storytellers.  Join our headline tellers, Nick Hennessy and Sarah Rundle, for talk, tales, and a switchback ride through the world of story.

As you may know, the festival normally runs on the ticket sales and kind donations received every year, but this year is very different due to not being able to be 'live'. If you have a pound or two to spare to help us, this would be greatly appreciated. All profits will go directly to our lead storytellers who have struggled making ends meet over the last few months as they have not been able to go to the venues they have booked (profits from the Story Slam will be generously donated to our Festival's funds for next year).

These are different times, but times where communities can come together and share to make the world a little better, so the storytelling community are coming together for you!

We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
