The COVID-19 pandemic has left a lot of clubs short on important funds, we are taking on a challenge to help raise money for the Open Age.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for the sport of Rugby League, none more so than for clubs at grassroots level, which is why a group of us are looking to take on the challenge of completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in November, to help raise some much needed funds to support the purchase of team kit and equipment for the Open Age Section of the club. Together we can help them.
In addition, we have also been in talks with the local charity, Behind a Smile, given the extra emphasis on mental health and wellbeing during these difficult times, we will be looking to donate 25% of the total funds directly raised to support this charity.
We would appreciate any level of donation to our cause and thank you in advance for your ongoing support!
NEW CLUBHOUSE
So, on October 30th 2020, we finally got the keys to the new Clubhouse, our own home, at Vicarage Lane.

Both clubs, Shevington Football Club and Shevington Sharks have so, soo many people to thank for making this dream come true, and we will in the fullness of time.

We know it's a turbulent time currently but we hope this gives the players, Coaches, Volunteers and supporters from both clubs soo much hope moving forward.
A momentous day for just not our sport but the whole community
