To help the Cotton tree reopen again after the flooding

by The Cotton Tree ,flood appeal in Bollington, England, United Kingdom

The recent floods in the village have certainly affected many of our residents ,in particular Jayne and the girls at “the Cotton  tree”

Despite  their very best efforts and hard work it still remains closed for business . The future  for the cotton tree is uncertain , insurance companies still need to access the damages .losses etc and this could take several more weeks and even if the insurance company agree to pay something it may not fully cover repairs ,loss of earnings etc

Jayne and the girls support our community in so many ways from fundraising , nostalgia nights, folk music nights , fabulous food , wonderful furnishings ( including Billy Connellys sofa) and support for our veterans via the British legion .

I’ve set up this page in the hopes that our wonderful caring and giving community will help Jayne and team through this very difficult time and hopefully one of our best loved pubs will be “open again and serving us for may more years to come

If you are able please support this fundraiser

Thank you
