Supporting Alty and Curzon Ashton Community Funds

Aim

Altrincham and Curzon Ashton both do essential work in their communities encouraging disability sport, inclusivity and integration.

We are running the Great Manchester Run 10k in aid of Altrincham FC Community Sports Company and the Curzon Ashton Community Foundation.

Both are registered charities (Altrincham charity number: 1154394, Curzon charity number: 1178657).

Altrincham provide football and sports coaching in the Altrincham area for schools and community organisations.

At Broomwood Wellbeing Centre they provide access to sporting activities for free or a minimal charge.

Their aim is to promote inclusivity for all members of our local community regardless of age, gender or ability.

The Curzon Ashton Community Foundation is committed to integration in the area, offering free entry to refugees, asylum seekers and military veterans.

They became a registered charity last August, and this is to support them in building the resources required to be of genuine benefit to the local community.

The money will be handled by us through this page and then split 50/50 between the two when donations end.
