Trans and Non-Binary people in the UK have come under relentless attacks in recent years. Our trans and non-binary communities face daily hatred and hostility in the media, have been subjected to several targeted court cases against trans inclusion, and are disproportionately impacted by policies in health, housing and equality.
Throughout the UK, trans people face multiple and intersecting challenges to all aspects of their most basic human rights, their safety, their dignity and their freedoms.
This is why Consortium is urgently asking for your support in raising money for our trans-led work to support over 60 trans-led organisations. Members of our Trans Organisations Network are needed more urgently than ever before, but we cannot support them without more funds. The organisations we are supporting are subject to the same attacks and hostility as the trans people they support.
By making a donation to our trans-led work, you are supporting the values of compassion and kindness we know are shared across our society. We have to take a stand against hatred in the fight for true equity for trans people.
We know that we are strongest when we work together. By standing in solidarity with Trans and Non-Binary organisations, and making a donation today, you are committing to support the development and continuation of vital services and community groups in the fight for the rights and dignity of trans and non-binary people in all aspects of their lives.
We are asking you to support us in our goal of raising £10,000 to support the ongoing running of the Trans Organisations Network, a vital resource for trans and non-binary community and voluntary organisations.
By supporting today, and standing #TogetherWithTrans, you will be making a vital contribution towards the important work of the network across areas including:
Build strong community voices to ensure others listen to the needs of trans and non-binary communities.
Fight for accountability on trans and non-binary issues, connecting trans and non-binary groups with decision making and key policy work.
Support trans-specific campaigns in important areas such as GRA reform.
Provide peer-support to trans and non-binary leaders so they can continue in their life saving work with trans and non-binary communities.
Your donation represents a statement of solidarity and compassion against the hatred and fearmongering levelled at LGBT+ communities, and a commitment to ensuring the human rights of trans and non-binary people in the UK.
