Together we can save the future of our museums. Now is the time to act.

#SupportOurMuseums is a UK-wide campaign run by the Museums Association and Crowdfunder to support our fantastic museums and help them face the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Together we have already raised over £200,000 for museums across the UK. And the journey’s not over yet: Museums Association Institutional Member museums are welcome to launch new campaigns of their own. 

Crowdfunder has waived their platform fees, so more of the money raised will go to you and your museum. And setting up a Crowdfunding campaign is simple and costs nothing.

We have tried crowdfunding in the past with very little success, but with support from and professionalism of Crowdfunder this time it really worked. We were encouraged to plan and make the project as exciting as possible and the support to maximise social media and other channels lead to us exceeding our wildest expectations.

If your museum is a Museums Association member, you can take part and launch a crowdfunding campaign. Whatever the size or location of your museum, this is an opportunity to gain some much-needed support and to amplify your fundraising efforts as part of a UK-wide campaign.
