Now it’s time to start the fun part of your Crowdfunding journey (in my opinion)… the page and video creation.

Project page considerations

Your project page is like your shop window, it’s the first thing your crowd will see as well as potential +Extra Funding partners so it needs to represent you and your project well and answer any questions people might have.

I recommend you look around the Crowdfunder website at other projects, both successful and live ones. Also look at projects that might have a similar theme to yours and see how they are selling themselves.

I’ve got a good idea of what makes a good project page, having looked at loads of similar projects on the Crowdfunder page, and listened to some Podcast on Purpose episodes.

I have lots to talk about already as 2nd Hand Sundays has been running for more than two years, I am going to tell that story of how we got here and try to paint a picture of who we are.

This story-telling approach can really help the crowd to get to know you, and emotion is a great way to engage people who might not know you already, as well as enticing possible match funding partners.
