We can all use a little help when starting out, so below we’ve put together some helpful advice on how to run your charity profile and what tools you have available to you.

Our guide to charity profiles
Your profile is your landing page and gateway for anyone to donate to your charity or start a fundraiser to join your cause. The profiles are designed to be easy to use, but just in case there’s always room for a great guide on what you can achieve with your profile. Make sure that you set up your financial details correctly to ensure that all donations reach you as soon as possible.

Starting a new project or prize draw
From within your newly created charity profile, you can create a new project or prize draw from your dashboard. What’s great is that you know longer have to complete the financial details as the donations go straight to your profile and each new project is listed on your profile page. Perfect for individual campaigns!

Your dashboard
Once you finish creating your charity profile, you’ll have access to your personalised dashboard. Where you can keep track of all your fundraising, view your supporters, provide updates, manage your monthly donations and even keep track of any fundraising on your behalf.

How do individuals raise money for your charity?
From your profile page any individual can fundraise for your cause by starting a fundraiser. Also anyone coming through our site will be able to find your charity on our list if they are looking for a great caused to fundraise for!

How does Gift Aid work?
​We have a partnership with Swiftaid as our GiftAid processing service allowing you to collect your Gift Aid for your profile and any projects you run.

Monthly donations
On our platform monthly donations are also known as ‘regular donations’, individuals can donate to your cause on your profile as either a single donation or monthly. On projects a regular donation is offered during the checkout process to every person unless you choose to switch the feature off.

How can you get +Extra Funding?
All our +Extra Funding opportunities are available to ‘new projects’ only. To access these opportunities, you will need to start a project from your profile and complete the +Extra funding section of the project builder. This will then automatically flag the opportunities to you. If you have a project that’s live, always check your project dashboard to see if any new opportunities have become available.
