Steve Took's life was interwoven with the Underground counter-culture of the area around Ladbroke Grove. He knew a wealth of musicians and influenced more people than you might imagine. This book is of interest to fans of Marc Bolan and Tyrannosaurus Rex, plus Underground Musicians including, but not exclusive to, a number of Hawkwind members including Nik Turner and Lemmy, plus Twink, The Pink Fairies, Syd Barrett and many more.

As well as featuring the Story of Steve Took’s Life there are a number of unseen, unpublished photos including live photographs of Tyrannosaurus Rex with Marc Bolan, plus professional photographs taken by the late Keith Morris during the period 1972 to 1974 and unseen photographs taken by friends and family. Whatever your interest in the man described as “too fragile for the music industry”, “strange and unique” and “a talented singer-songwriter”, this is a Must Have book.
