Social Creatures (Short Documentary)

Aim

We aim to explore how three generations use the digital space, and the impact of that usage on modern society.

The Idea

Our idea 'Social Creatures' stems from the idea of longing for tangibility in an increasingly more interconnected world, with our devices so adept at recording every aspect of our lives and the question of how to remain private in a society that loves to overshare. 

It has since developed, becoming an exploration of how multiple generations use the digital space.

The Team

Our Producer (Georgina Colman), Director/DP (Billy Child), Editor (Emily O'Brien) and Sound Designer (Ben Williams) are excited to get stuck into creating this project. 

Where the money goes

The money we raise will help fund the creation of our film. It will allow us to provide food for our interviewees, it will fund our transport to each location, it will help us secure music and allow us to enter the film in festivals.
