Aim
I am hoping to raise funds for The Whitechapel Centre, a Liverpool homelessness charity to support the great work they do.
Homelessness is an ever growing part of our society in recent years but it needn't be!
We can all help change this sorry state of affairs in our own way. This is mine. I am joining many others to raise awareness and funds for people experiencing homelessness in my adopted city of Liverpool. We will be sleeping outside on October 13th (didn't realise it was also Friday 13th). While this will be no comparison to the experience of those who through circumstances are forced to sleep outdoors, we hope that this event will make some small difference by raising much needed funds for the Liverpool homeless charity The Whitechapel Centre.
The Whitechapel Centre is one of the busiest places I have ever visited and is open 365 days a year. They have been helping people in Liverpool get back on their feet for a very long time and they're pretty good at it. However, as with many charities they never receive enough funding, and so they rely a lot on fundraising.
Please donate what you can, you can be assured not a penny will be wasted!
