We're one of the music venues identified by MVT as being most at risk of permanent closure due to the crisis. Please support our campaign.
We are in need to raise funds to keep The Four Horsemen operating after covid restrictions and a second lockdown have hit our bank balance hard and left us struggling to pay for essential bills. You can help us by making a donation or pledging on a reward

Since the start of the covid crisis we have, like much of the industry, tried to adapt to survive. With the banning of gatherings we looked to deliveries and takeaways and have managed to keep our heads above water. But many bills including rent and VAT have been backing up and the reduced capacity we are operating under, even when full, just doesn't generate enough income to keep up with the tide.
This second lockdown has hit us particularly hard, reversing some of the small gains we have been able to make.
We would use any money raised to pay essential bills that will allow us to keep the venue open and let us continue to host events. Since we have had the chance to, we have been running live shows and comedy, albeit at a covid compliant reduced capacity. We think it is important to continue to provide a free space for hire for artists to make what money they can in these times and to continue to provide a space for creative expression.
The Four Horsemen exists to provide an incubator and showcase for local breakthrough and grass roots talent in art, music and culture within Bournemouth and the surrounding area. The venue has a fully licensed bar, restaurant and live music venue and is fully equipped with the very best sound and audio technology. The Four Horsemen Bar endeavors to enrich the lives of people in the surrounding area by offering a showcase of visual art from independent local artists of all genres and breakthrough grass roots talent in all genres of music, both live (solo artists, spoken word and bands) and electronic (DJ, Production, Live Stream and Promotion).

About Save Our Venues - The Red List
During the last 8 months, Music Venue Trust and Crowdfunder have worked together to prevent the closure of hundreds of grassroots music venues. With no end to the crisis in sight, we are now refocusing that work to spotlight those venues under most imminent threat of permanent closure. The #SaveOurVenues Red List highlights the grassroots music venues at most risk.
Right now.
We’ve checked all the available funding, financial support, furlough schemes, business support for these venues, and what is on offer is not enough to prevent them being lost. These 30 venues are on the Critical List and need your help.
These grassroots venues play a crucial role in the development of British music, nurturing local talent, providing a platform for artists to build their careers and develop their music and their performance skills. These venues also play a vital role in the cultural and economic vibrancy of any village, town or city.
