We want to rebuild a whole play area in our local community, the previous park stood for 23 years and has now come to the end of its life.
This Park has stood for 23 years and has now come to the end of its life here on the Skrinkle Estate in Manorbier along the beautiful coast of Pembrokeshire.
Having been told that it was going to be torn down and not replaced we formed a comittee of Parents and Grandparents from the area because we feel we can not loose this area, with council cuts and nothing to help us we decided to make this happen and rebuild our beloved park. Without this park Crime could go up in the area , the youngsters need a place to be themselves , somewhere they can go , something they can do as their is nothing recreational in this area.
We were told to expect a large sum and when we were told £50,000 was needed, our hearts sank. However Even tho this is a large sum of money we beleive WE CAN , and WE WILL do this for our community, without this park we would have over 150 children in our area with no where safe to play by their homes , every child has a right to safe play, this encourages healthy relationships and social lives as the children learn and grow, we must encourage this. Can you help?
