After dislocating my hip in a freak accident racing in the British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton, I need the help from fans to get me back on track!
About the project
After the incredible response across Facebook and Twitter from BTCC fans wanting to help get me back on track, a lot of people have suggested that I use a Crowd Funding site to help with the pledges and contributions.
After a high speed accident at the fast Thruxton circuit on the 9th of May, which has left me with a bad hip injury, my racing season is hanging in the balance as the cost of the repairs to the car are sadly beyond of what I can afford. My goal is to make the next race weekend at Oulton Park which is at the start of June.
I am very privileged to be a racing driver, let alone in the BTCC, and the fans and avid supporters aren't always able to have the chances and opportunities that myself and all the other racers have.
What I started over Facebook and twitter was to give the opportunity, in return for peoples help, a chance to ride along as a passenger with me or get behind the wheel themselves in a true purpose built Race Car. Along with lots of other goodies to go with it.
I have a 3rd generation Clio Cup Race Car, with two seats fitted, that I have kept from my time in the support series to the BTCC... It would be my pleasure to give, anyone who can help me get back on my feet and back on track, the opportunity to drive this beast and experience passenger laps with me.
The BTCC is powered by the fans and if there is anyone out there who can help turn my season around, I'd love to give something back in return.

This page is also set up for those who can't unfortunately stretch to the driving experience, but still would like to contribute to help turn my season around. I have been overwhelmed with everyones kind messaging of help and making sure that I am recovering well.
I appreciate the amount I need to raise is a staggering amount, and this unfortunately is only a part of the true figure.
If you are able to help, I'll make sure you can experience how lucky I am to do what I do.
I would absolutely love to try and get everyone together that contributes for a huge 'Team' photograph with me and the car and show how important the fans are to Motorsport.
