Aim
Our project aims to help get our community back to being active by restarting our Handball sessions.
Who we are
We are a small local community club who offer a fun and welcoming environment for people of all ages to come and play Handball.
What we do
We work with local schools to offer Handball activity to young people from 8 years...
All the way up to our adults sessions...
We offer opportunities for people of all abilities to experience Handball, from complete beginners wanting to get fit and learn new skills...
to experienced players competing with the best in the country (including a few national champions!)
Why we need your support
With the changes to our way of life severely impacting our sport and our club, we need to make changes to continue to offer our activities.
In order for us to run activity sessions for all of our potential participants, we need to increase the number of sessions on offer in order to be able to keep groups small enough to maintain social distancing. This will place a great financial burden on the club as the number of participants will stay the same, but our venue costs will increase significantly.
With more groups to run, we will also need to purchase additional equipment to ensure everyone is able to fully participate, and also to ensure that there is no need to share equipment whilst practising.
