Help a struggling family pay one month's rent.

Aim

To raise enough money, so a family can pay their rent, and keep a roof over their young children's head.

Hello everyone,

First of all , thank you in advance to everyone on here, you guys are absolutely amazing, I may not know who you are, because I'm new to this website.

I am hoping for any financial donations, no matter how small, so my friend can keep a roof over his children's heads with the cost of living crisis & I'm also reaching out from one parent to another who understands what it's like to struggle financially, not knowing when your kids will eat again & have a roof over their heads.

This is my friend's story,

My friend a single parent of 3 young children. He works very long hours and he was forced to turn to food banks to feed his children. But it's not enough as he's suffering from financial hardship making it absolutely impossible to pay his rent aswell as heating & eating. He's fallen one month behind on his rent & also behind with all his other bills in the process, he had absolutely no money to feed his family last week , as he puts all his weekly wages aside to try to cover his monthly rent but still fell way short. The landlord has only recently increased his rent & is now threatening to evict his family because they've fallen behind with rent payments due to the increase in rent. He is trying his best to catch up, whilst trying to stay afloat with all his other bills, it's still not enough, this situation is having a major impact on his children’s mental health and wellbeing because there are times where he is unable to provide food for his children. He is trying his utmost to reduce his rent arrears in order to keep a roof over his family's head whilst trying to feed them at the same time. There are loads of people going through financial hardship right now. Currently there is a huge cost of living crisis nationwide which has had a huge effect on a lot of families up & down the country , Families are currently struggling financially aswell & I fully understand & respect that. I'm just trying to reach out to kind hearted people to help my friend & his family find his feet again & just give his children a little bit of hope.
