to raise funds to pay for artists time paint travel and accomodation

This years urban art festival we are collaborating with the bodycraft artists and bringing Reclaim festival a festival about imagination, inspiration, collaboration and information

This years event will take place at Cleethorpes leisure Centre on the 24 th and 25th September from 10 until 5 each day with 20 local and national urban artists painting 16 ft canvases on the outside of the leisure centre,body artists painting on human canvases. We will have activities to include arts and crafts, break-dancers, mcs and DJs, art competitions, and so much more ..Reclaim will be 10 until 5 each day with 20 local and national urban artists painting 16 ft canvases on the outside of the leisure centre,4 local artists will be commissioned to produce work for an exhibition focusing on artists who have never exhibited before , Reclaiming our environment whether that be from covid or recycling and sending the message through art .

Cleethorpes urban art festival and bodycraft are run by artists for artists being an urban artist myself I’m am a great believer in artists being paid so this money will go towards artists paint ,travel, accommodation and payments . This year we will employ over 60 self employed artists to work over the weekend but we need the funds to do this .The event costs £30.000 to put on unfortunately  we have been turned down by the arts council for funding ,we have managed to gain small pockets of local funding but need more to make the event happen and get as many artists painting as possible . It costs about £700 to get each artist down to paint at the event the paint alone will be £100 per artist.
