Raising £20k to make faceshields for the frontline

Aim
Sports Fusion and Axial3D are now crowdfunding £20,000 to produce face shields for healthcare workers.
We're raising £20,000 to get protective face shields to the front line.

Our Other Heroes is a partnership between Sports Fusion and Axial3D, designed to offer help quickly and directly to embattled medics by raising donations from businesses and individuals concerned with the business of sport.
We at Sports Fusion have built a successful business in sport over the past twelve years - we love our clients and can’t wait to have normality back. Keeping our business strong is important but will feel a bit meaningless if we don’t also try to make a contribution to the bigger effort.
Sure we are not alone in doing this – like everybody else, we can’t carry on seeing our medics dying just because they are being asked to do their job not just in extraordinary circumstances but also without the right equipment – it’s heart-breaking and unbearable and we have to make it stop. This initiative is our small contribution to what is a much bigger effort from businesses and individuals that care.
Our particular angle has been to partner with our friends at Axial3D who are world leaders in 3D medical printing and who have devised a logistics chain that guarantees the dispatch of protective face shields quickly and directly to the surgeries, care homes and charities that need them – each shield you pay for will be dispatched within 48 hours and will ideally be in use within 72 hours – no bureaucracy, no warehouses, no delays – you donate, our partners ship.
