The aim is business survival and growth, until Pothecary Gin is being served and sold in Bars, Restaurants, Hotels and shops again!

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive, mine included. 

Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, drinks, events, hotel bookings and so on, for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date. I also have some instant redemption items, essentially gin, T-shirts and Gin Guides, that can be purchased as part of this fundraising campaign.

GREAT NEWS! I have received the Small Business Grant and therefore reduced my Target amount to £6k, and it is now more about Survival and Growth than 'rescue'. 

I would still really appreciate your help though, and there are some fab rewards on offer...

About Pothecary Gin

Pothecary Gin has been a very big, and yet simultaneously very small success since it was launched in June 2016. Over the last 3+ years Pothecary Gin has won numerous Local, National and International awards, including Double-Gold at SFSC (San Francisco Spirits Competition), Gold at CWSA (China Wine & Spirit Awards), Best Contemporary Gin UK at The World Gin Awards, amongst many others. The Gin has secured a reputation for high quality, is considered contemporary in the market, and differs significantly from London dry Gin in terms of production process, using multiple, separate distillations and then blending. 

Pothecary Gin has a unique character as a result, with intensity and character, whilst staying true to Gin's origins centred upon Juniper! 

Pothecary Gin Original (blue label) is an aromatic, floral style gin, with Lavender, Lemon and piney Juniper aromas, and a super smooth palate with hints of tea, honey and soft red fruit, allowing it to be enjoyed as a sipping gin, a Dry Martini, or on the rocks as an after dinner drink. 44.8% abv.

Pothecary Gin has also released a number of other gins, each with its own distinctive style;

Sicilian Blend (orange label) - Orange and Lemon aromas, backed by Juniper and an earthy, woody character from Gentian Root. A powerful gin perfect when served in a Negroni. Also makes for a very refreshing and very long G&T at 47% abv.

Thai Blend limited Edition (green label) - a blend of fresh tropical fruits, Juniper and warming fresh spice. Juniper, Mango, Pineapple, Lime, Coconut, Coriander leaf, fresh Turmeric root, fresh Ginger root combine to create a highly versatile gin that can be served with coconut water or ginger beer, as well as tonic, and garnishes can include fresh tropical fruit, fresh chilli, fresh ginger and of course fresh Lime. 46%abv.

Trinity Blend Limited Edition (white label) - This was created to combat the profusion of sweetened, coloured and flavoured gins that appeared on the market between 2017-2019, moving the emphasis away from Juniper - the meaning of gin! So, Trinity has only 3 botanicals; Juniper , Coriander Seed and Bergamot - these botanicals representing a benchmark of the accepted style of classic gin. It is clean, fresh and aromatic with the fragrance of Bergamot, warming spice notes from Coriander on the palate, and the unmistakable piney, earthy character of Juniper throughout. Best served as a classic G&T with ice and a slice! This gin has welcomed with wide acclaim from Bloggers, experts and consumers alike!

There have also been 2 further range extensions in a limited edition format; The Cinnamon Twist version of Sicilian Blend, and the latest release, the ''Smugglers' Strength'' version of Trinity Blend cut at 59% abv.

Cinnamon Twist was created with a Hot G&Tea in mind - chamomile tea, a splash of Cinnamon Twist, a fresh slice of orange to garnish and sugar to taste!

Smugglers' Strength is an 'overproof' version of Trinity Blend at 59% abv!

All Pothecary Gins are produced by the same method of multiple distillations, one for each individual botanical, then blending the distillates to a formulated recipe, and cutting to strength with New Forest Spring water.

All botanical ingredients and base spirit are certified organic, and one by one the gins will all become certified organic too, with Original and Sicilian already being so.
