Our city trees need your help! Our leafy streets are beautiful, but many of our trees are in trouble. Help us to plant more trees.
Plant your Postcode is a CPRE Sussex volunteer-led project working with Brighton & Hove City Council to restore and increase our city’s green canopy.
With your help we can build on Hove Civic Society’s ongoing work planting trees in Hove, and expand this across the city.
We need trees to breathe!
They improve our health and wellbeing, support wildlife, reduce air pollution and flooding, provide shade and regulate the microclimate.
Trees offset our carbon footprint!
Brighton and Hove is home to The National Elm Collection. Our trees are free from elm disease and the city is home to some of the world’s rarest varieties.
This is variable but on average:
Tree planting takes time and Plant your Postcode is a long-term project.
Help us make more of Brighton & Hove's streets as beautiful as this...
