PITCH FORWARD 2019 SUPPORTING YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Aim

We are supporting young entrepreneurs (16-30) to test trade their business through training, workshops, space, consultancy and cash prizes!

Business Launchpad is a charity dedicated to transforming young lives through enterprise in London and across the UK. We supports young people aged 16 – 30 at every stage of business: whether they need help coming up with or refining their business idea, practical support through the business basics, or even want to turn their business into a social enterprise, we are here to help. Our trained business counsellors and wider network of partners and associates can provide the motivation and support young people need to build and sustain a thriving business. We are a team of passionate individuals who can offer workshops, mentoring, leadership, peer support as well as office space. Based in South London, our charity has earned the Social Enterprise Mark for the work we do with young people, starting and developing their careers.

The BLP Pitch Forward 2019 competition is offering ten shortlisted applicants the opportunity to pitch their idea to a panel of four judges. The winners will be coached and supported through their development process and we need your help to make it happen! We already have a number of business supporters offering branding and design tutorials, co-working space, trading space, finance and accounting coaching, online newspaper featuring and social media consultancy. However, we need money to go towards equipment, materials, stock and the rental of studio, kitchen or rehearsal spaces. Prizes will be carefully tailored to each business proposal and no cash will be lost in administration.  

If you are a successful business person with a conscience and ready to give a young person an opportunity; if you have an interest in your community; if you would like to give something back; or if you simply have a philanthropist soul believing in positive changes, this project is for you. In addition, there is an opportunity for superhero business sponsor to be promoted across our social media, network and community, as well as having our Content Creator capturing storytelling footage and imagery of their business or activity. This will include revamping of logos and as well as filming and editing.
