Aim

We are looking to open a craft beer shop in Paisley. We have big plans and the store is only the beginning.

The Short Story
Two guys who want to open a craft beer shop in their hometown.

The Long Story
Jamie is currently in a job that he isn't 100% a fan of. When lockdown hit, he wanted to re-evaluate his career and look to do something he would actually be passionate about. While brainstorming what he could do, all he thought was it had to be something to do with Paisley and how he could give back to a town that he loves. Brainstorming is thirsty work so he went online to buy some beer (sour beer to be precise). He grumbled at the fact that he had to go online to source beer, all the closest beer stores were in Glasgow and it would have been very irresponsible to travel to Glasgow during a pandemic for beer. Then a lightbulb clicked. Why not combine his passion for craft beer and the love for his hometown and open a craft beer shop in Paisley. He texted his cousin's soon to be husband Sandy, a brewer, if he thought a craft beer shop in Paisley would be a good idea. Not only did he think it was a good idea, it was a thought that had crossed his mind as well.

Sandy has a big passion for craft beer. He studied Brewing & Distilling at Heriot-Watt University and was also vice president of the Heriot-Watt University Brewing Society. Sandy has worked for micro breweries all over Scotland such as Fallen Brewing and Black Isle Brewery, and has collaborated with brewers in Hong Kong and Sweden. Sandy also started his own micro brewery, called Two Towns Down Brewing. A brewery that sets out to create innovative, interesting and cutting edge beers while drawing inspiration from contemporary and more classic beer brewing philosophies. His beer names take inspiration from the music world but the thing that stands out the most (other than the taste) is the cans! The famous Paisley pattern adorns his cans, a homage to his hometown. At the moment, there are no stockists in Paisley to carry these beautiful cans, we will change that.
