Aim
Any amount I can raise to better someone’s life just that little bit is worth it all.
The thought of anyone sleeping out who hasn’t got a roof over their head is just heartbreaking and unimaginable what these people face each day. To think that some of these people are amazing veterans who have sacrificed so much of their lives for us. I have a brother and a best friend who served in the armed forces. I will be taking part in the big sleep, not only to raise funds for this amazing cause but for the experience and to get the smallest glimpse of what these people face day in day out of their lives. Yes it will be very cold and probably very wet and uncomfortable and probably one of the worst nights I’ll have. But I am fortunate and blessed and lucky enough to come home to a house and a bed. This is just 1 night for me, but it’s the peoples lives day in and day out. Homelessness needs to end. And just remember, it can happen to anyone at any point of our lives, so always stay humble, kind and appreciate all you have.
