Zoë Garbett for Mayor of London

Aim: I'm Zoë Garbett, and I'm the Green Party's candidate for Mayor of London. We have a real opportunity in 2024. But we need your help.

“It’s easy to feel let down by politics right now. London isn’t working. Our city is too expensive for the majority of us, the inequality is growing, and politicians are failing to deal with it.”

The London elections in May are our opportunity to back something better. To vote for Zoë’s plan for London. A plan to take on the housing crisis, the climate crisis, and the cost-of-living crisis. Practical and bold ideas. The plan London needs. 

Zoë’s an experienced candidate. She’s worked as a commissioner in the NHS, managing big budgets and delivering projects that improved children’s health. She was elected as a Councillor in Dalston with the biggest level of support for any Green in London. She’s got the practical and political experience to deliver for London.

And support for the Green Party keeps growing. At each London election more voters are willing to back the Green Party and the polls are clear. We’re on course for a record-breaking result. Last time we successfully elected 3 London Assembly Members, Caroline, Sian and Zack. We can do even better this time. We just need your support.

Your support matters

We’re a grassroots movement. Powered by people who believe in our values, not by dodgy corporations or billionaire big interests. Every year members and supporters give what they can, and our campaigns funnel that money into reaching voters. 

Our campaigns are cost effective too. Every campaign we are in the top for money spent per vote won. Your contributions, whatever the size, will help convince more people to vote Green.

And we’ll do that through leaflets. Social media advertising. Getting our winning messages to London’s voters. Because our city is being let down by business-as-usual politics.

We’re aiming to raise £20,000. That would help reach millions of Londoners. 

The plan London needs

London needs a Mayor who will take the climate crisis seriously. Not one who backs airport expansion or the polluting Silvertown Road Tunnel. A genuinely green mayor. 

We’re proud of Zoë’s ideas for a sustainable London. New public parks. Cleaner air. Better public transport. 

And the housing crisis needs real action too. Zoë is a renter. She’s experienced how unfair and unjust trying to find stable housing in London can be. It’s the Greens pushing for the real solutions to the housing crisis. A two-year rent freeze. Building new council homes and buying back lost council homes.

And too many Londoners are struggling to get by. Zoë would freeze transport fares. Champion a real London Living Wage. Free public transport for under 22s and over 60s.

We know this plan is popular. That voters just need to hear from us in these final few weeks. Your donation can make all the difference.
