Raise money for a science fair Trip in South Africa

About the project

Zimbabwe Science Fair is a charitable organisation registered in Zimbabwe and our aim is to promote the uptake of STEM In our schools and Universities. We also encourage innovation and and invention. We have support from industry and partnered with the government and University of Zimbabwe in delivering our objectives within schools. We have to date held two Science fairs with a STEM teaching symposium scheduled early September.

We are pleased to announce that we are sending a 8 student delegation to South Africa to represent Zimbabwean schools at the Eskom Science Fair in Pretoria. The students are departing Harare on 12 August and return on the 15 August 2015. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have secured accommodation and transport. We are appealing for funds to cover food and contingencies for the journey.

The delegation is made up of 11 people travelling to South Africa from Zimbabwe 8 students, 1 teacher and 2 Zimscience officials. The money will be used gcover meals and contingencies.  The coach journey is roughly 12hours from Harare-Zimbabwe to Pretoria South Africa. We need to provide food and drink for both journeys. The delegation will be staying in a B&B and we need to provide supper for two nights they are there and lunch fo two days as well. We welcome any donation We only have 12days to reach our target.  Thank you all in advance.
