We’re supporting young women to take control of their finances by giving them the skills to be more financially independent.
Young women are more likely than young men to be struggling with the cost of living and it is taking its toll on their mental health. More than half of young women are filled with dread at the state of their finances. No one should have to face these challenges alone. That's why we're here to help.

We your need help to raise £5,000 to support up to 160 young women to take control of their money.
Our interactive online financial management training helps young women, aged 18-30, to balance money matters alongside home and work responsibilities. Free webinars offer advice and support that fits flexibly into young women’s busy lives. They create a safe space to gain skills and strategies to learn how to be more financially independent.
Young women are so busy putting others first that they can lose sight of their own dreams. Our expert team helps young women explore how money management and planning can help them achieve their goals and support their families.
Training helps young women think about their finances in a new way so they can feel hopeful for the future. Key elements of training offer advice on prioritising and tracking spending, managing debt and preparing for unexpected costs.
Sometimes just talking and knowing that you are not alone can make challenges feel less dauting. Young women who attend our financial training webinars can join our online community to connect with their peers, share their stories and access further professional support.
Making a Difference
"I started attending Young Women’s Trust webinars and had my eyes opened to a huge range of issues that I had never even thought about before. However, beyond sitting quietly and learning, I found something else. I found a community of other young women who I am still profoundly connected to two years later.
Being involved with this community has meant everything to me. It made me feel a sense of solidarity and purpose, allowing me to cheer on my peers and be encouraged in return. It allowed me to find a place of kindness where I could speak freely and hear the stories of others. It made me want to get out of bed in the morning and participate in something larger than myself.” – Zoe
