If we secure additional funding, we will expand and scale up our activities by developing local partnerships and widen our engagement with the local community. This will allow us to reach more young people, it means more personalised advice tailored to individual needs, more comprehensive workshops on financial resilience, and more chances for young people to experience the profound impact of immersive learning.

We are committed to transforming the lives of over 125 young people in our community by replacing anxiety and a lack of financial literacy with understanding and empowerment. Our crowd-funded initiative focuses on several impactful methods to engage and educate the youth, ensuring they are equipped with the financial skills necessary to thrive in today’s economic landscape.
Our programme includes personalised one-to-one financial advice sessions, which are essential for addressing individual needs and challenges. These sessions are divided into two parts: the first is an assessment phase where we identify each young person's unique financial situations and obstacles. The second is an action plan setting, where we collaborate to develop a tailored strategy for managing their finances effectively. This personalised approach ensures that the advice is relevant and immediately applicable, fostering a sense of confidence and control over their financial decisions.
Additionally, we are hosting three workshops on Financial Resilience. These workshops are crucial as they provide a group learning environment where young people can gain critical knowledge on how to withstand and adapt to economic shocks and stresses. By understanding key concepts such as saving, investing, and budgeting, participants will build a resilient financial foundation that supports their long-term goals.
We also recognise the transformative power of immersive learning experiences. That's why we are sending more than 10 young people on a 5-night residential programme. This intensive experience not only deepens their understanding of financial concepts through structured lessons and activities but also builds community and peer support networks. The residential setting encourages full immersion in the learning process, making it a powerful catalyst for personal and financial growth.
