Aim

Youth Corner opens free, low-barrier youth clubs across West Oxfordshire towns. Every community deserves a youth corner.

Founders
We are Dianne Augustine and Bryanna Bone, the power duo taking the Youth Sector in Oxfordshire by storm. Since teaming up, those in local authorities who have watched both of our journeys in Oxfordshire have called us "UNSTOPPABLE". Between us, we have spent 46 years making sure young people have somewhere to belong.

Bryanna is a Youth Worker with 16 years' experience starting and scaling youth initiatives across Canada and the UK — Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, London, St Catharines, and Oxford. She's Founder & CEO of Oxford Innovative Education (OXIE), and under Charlbury Youth Club she grew attendance by 200% in two years, reaching 200 registered students in a small, rural town.

Dianne is Head of OXIE Youth and spearheading our Youth Corner charitable initiative. With 30 years of youth work behind her and the founder of the Youth Café in Witney. Through consultation and day-to-day relationship-building with young people, families, schools and community partners, she has built a deep understanding of the gaps facing young people in West Oxfordshire — particularly the lack of dedicated, safe spaces to socialise, access support, and build positive relationships. The Youth Café was her pilot answer to that gap, and it proved what a welcoming, low-barrier space can do for young people facing isolation, poor wellbeing, financial hardship and limited access to inclusive activities. 

Together, we know what it takes to open a youth club and make it sustainable, long-lasting, and far-reaching.

We believe that every community deserves a youth corner.

Youth Corner is a growing family of local, town-based youth clubs. Now we're taking our proven model and methodologies to Charlbury, Witney, The Leys, Windrush Place, Carterton and beyond.

Our vision is a UK where no young person is more than a walk away from a free, welcoming space that believes in them and offers a clear next step into mentorship and career pathways. Our mission is to open and run free, low-barrier youth clubs in towns across Oxfordshire where young people are welcome exactly as they are, and where youth-led passion projects can be backed through OXIE's wider innovation and leadership programmes. 

How we'll use the money you raise:

Every pound goes straight into getting Youth Corner running and keeping it safe, staffed and welcoming across The Leys, Windrush Place, Carterton and Charlbury:

• People — lead youth workers, apprentices and student interns who show up every week and make Youth Corner what it is
• Safeguarding — DBS checks, safeguarding training, and youth work training for every volunteer and staff member, non-negotiable before a single session runs
• Spaces — venue hire across all four sites so there's always somewhere warm and welcoming to walk into
• Food — free healthy snacks, so no young person goes unfed
• Activities — OXIE workshop materials and equipment
• Getting there — a van to move kit and volunteers between our four sites in rural West Oxfordshire
• Youth leadership — stipends for the Youth Advisory Group and their mentors, because young people help run Youth Corner, not just attend it
