The programme is aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 16 from low income families, to keep them active over the summer holidays.
I am an active qualified fitness instructor and Personal Trainer/fitness consultant and have been doing so for the past 10 years working with people of all ages. One of my most popular classes I teach is my very own Bizzy Beats which is an Aerobics class that I adapted into my own style to suit all ages young and old and to my surprise was a big hit when the pandemic struck. When lockdown happened, I put in place zoom classes for everyone to keep active and then, as soon as it was possible to do so, I started introducing outdoor park classes, free of charge, for all, so that people could keep active, and I do the classes whatever the weather.
Since the classes started 2 years ago the number of people attending as steadily grown, this is due to our visibility has we’ve been seen working out in the park and the fun that we have, people have joined us. These outdoor classes have been designed by me to attract people of all age groups, a by- product of this is that we have created such a wonderful diverse community of diverse cultures, classes, and ages. This has allowed people from all levels of society to meet up and form new friendships, and at the same time, keeping everyone fit and active, in mind and body.

Bizzy Izzy Fitness aim is to bring the community together by staying active and fit in mind and body, encouraging social interaction that helps to build a diverse community of cultures classes and ages, and the great health benefits exercise gives us, thus helping to change people’s lives, to get the ball rolling for the Youth Activities Park Programme, I will be doing a cycle challenge. I’ll be cycling from London to Edinburgh 468 miles (753 kilometres) starting on the 24th May over 5 days, I’ve set up a WhatsApp group for those of you that would like to follow me on this journey.

There are several projects that we need funding for, these are the youth activities park programme over the summer holidays and during half term holidays, the monthly seaside exercise trips that we do all year round and the quarterly dinner/entertainment evening.
The funds raised will help to purchase the equipment needed for the youth activities park programme which include football, tennis, basketball, rounders, boxing and running cost .
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Create a fundraiser of your own. Use the button on our page to get started. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
