Hi, I’m Ken Baldwin, founder of YourFreeClassifiedAds.com — a new kind of classifieds platform with a bigger purpose.
Our vision is simple: to build a useful, community-led website where people across the UK can post ads for free — while helping raise money for local charities and good causes, month after month.

We’ve done the groundwork, but to fully launch and grow the site, we need your help to:
- Finalise development (including tools that autofill vehicle listings via reg plates)
- Move to faster, more secure UK-based servers
- Launch and manage our monthly community charity voting system
- Hire moderators to help manage listings and user safety
- Integrate trusted third-party data and safety tools
- Run national social media campaigns to grow our user base

How the Platform Raises Funds for Charity
YourFreeClassifiedAds.com is free to use, but we generate revenue from optional paid upgrades (like featured listings) and some tasteful on-site advertising. This revenue helps us grow and also funds charitable donations — which are built into the platform's core.
Here’s how our community-driven giving system works:
- Every month, users nominate their favourite UK charities or community causes
- Six are randomly selected from the nominations
- Each registered user gets one vote per month
- The top three causes receive a share of that month’s donations:
- 50% to the first-place vote
- 25% each to second and third
Our charity donation model starts at 10% of monthly profits in Year 1, increasing to 20% by Year 3, and 30% by Year 5.
That means the more the platform grows, the more we can give back.

No — we’re more of a social enterprise that creates profits through our business, not a registered charity.
But that’s intentional. It allows us to build a sustainable platform that can support not just one cause, but many — through a clear, ongoing commitment to sharing profits with UK charities and local initiatives.
