You're Never Alone CIC: Walking 2 Million Steps to Keep Our Support Going
At You're Never Alone CIC, we understand the challenges that SEND parent/carers face daily—the strength it takes, the obstacles they overcome, and the importance of having a strong support system.
Founded by a SEND parent, our organisation was created to ensure no SEND parent/carer ever feels alone on their journey.
This June, we’re walking 2 million steps together alongside parent/carers in a collective effort, tracking and submitting our steps weekly to raise essential funds that will keep our organisation running and allow us to continue our vital work. Inspired by one of our wonderful SEND parents, this challenge is a testament to the resilience and unity of our community.
The funds raised will help us continue providing:
💙 Face-to-face support groups, where parent/carers can connect, share experiences, and find encouragement
💙 SEND family events, fostering joy, inclusion, and meaningful connections for families
💙 Activities for parent/carers, promoting well-being, empowerment, and a space for self-care
💙 Expert speakers & organisations, offering insight, knowledge, and confidence-building resources
💙 Ongoing peer support, through social media, email, and phone lines, ensuring parent/carers always have someone to turn to.
This walk isn’t just about numbers—it’s about standing together, showing parent/carers that they are seen, heard, and supported.
Every step counts, every stride strengthens our community, and together, we are making a difference. Step by step, we are ensuring parent/carers always have the support they need.
SEND parent/carers deserve support, understanding, and a strong community behind them.
