To make football a thriving part of youth culture for all girls in South London through a professionally developed grassroots club.
We are a professionally developed grassroots club for girls in South London enabling access to a quality environment for all.
Our coaching philosophy nurtures relevant skills on and off the pitch: confidence, communication, accountability, and collaboration.
We balance a professional and competitive experience with having fun, learning new skills and working together as a team. We empower girls to discover and play the game their way, learning from their decision-making and problem-solving.
Central to Young Queens’ culture is inclusivity. We want the club to be a space where the girls, parents, carers, and coaches value and respect each other's views, invite feedback, and are open to learning.
Young Queens are positive, empathetic, collaborative girls working together to achieve shared goals.
Our crowdfunding campaign is designed to provide a foundation of support for the club to provide access to football matches for as many girls as possible. The campaign will aim to raise enough to prepare the club to continue its growth into the second season (2026/27) and develop future projects. These include a summer girls football tournament and weekly free just play sessions.
The team equipment we require to run an initial 9 teams totals - £1637.10
To ensure all game day coaches have the necessary qualifications we need - £1530
Our 9 team kits will cost a total of - £4694.22 (we do have some kit sponsors)
Our team pitch fees will cost - £6230
Our team referee fees will be - £2800
Our Just play project will cost - £4300
All these costs are per year. We will aim to drive growth each year within the program using our crowdfunding campaign as the foundation and then increase sponsored support for projects as the popularity grows.
Are impact is directly on empowering young females interested in football in South London. We are inclusive of a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds and demographics bringing together a unity on the pitch reflective of the society they are being raised in. We strive for equality of opportunity and integration of our community.
