You Can Have It All...Can't You?

Aim

Raising funds to support our theatre project: An R&D, Sharing and Q&A around the pressures in today's society, around the Biological Clock.

In Parallel Productions working with community group Inspire Women Oldham, are bringing a exciting one hour sharing and Q&A of work inspired by the opinions, views and observations of the community, in relation to their biological clocks and the pressures they face in society.

The sharing will be a theatrical piece with an accumulation of text, dance, music and song, that looks at challenging the stereotypes around the subject and delves into the depths of topics including thoughts around PMS, having children and the menopause, brought to you in a fresh and innovative way. This work will then form the foundation for a fully fledged theatre piece around the subject that we will look to tour 2024/2025.

After a first unsuccessful Arts Council Bid (one currently pending) we are now seeking the funds to pay the creatives involved a fair wage for the work they will do to develop this piece of work and to pay for numerous methods of accessibility including BSL interpreter, audio described footage, subtitled footage etc.
