Hi Enthusiasts, my name is Tasha. 

I am a Hatha & Hot Yoga Teacher, I have been teaching Yoga in Whitby since September 2015. I feel that Yoga is evolving around the world, manifesting and more people are becoming aware of mindfulness. Whitby unfortunately, has no Yoga Studio, nor has had the benefit of having an environment which oozes out relaxation, calmness, a place where you can escape the busy lifestyle to a warm comforting place. 

I believe that the community of Whitby deserves to be spoilt with a yoga room, with essential oil diffuser, candles, bolsters, yoga blankets, eye pillows, good on the wall paint, wooden floors to fully experience the maximum potential of being relaxed. 

I can not afford to have a massive studio space at the moment. But what I can offer is a room in the centre of Whitby, in Skinner Street on top of bobbins. This room can hold up to 12 students at a time, it used to be the old council offices. I currently teach classes every Thursday at 7pm-8pm. However, I will be offering new classes Monday - Friday. I have new exciting classes that I know everyone will enjoy. In order to make the room look and feel zen-like, it's going to cost me a few £££. 

What I currently require is:

- Paint for the room

- Wooden floor to replace the shabby carpet

- Bolsters (For Yin Yoga) £38 per bolster

- Yoga Block (For Beginner students , Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga)

- Eye Pillows (Complete relaxation & Yoga Nidra)

-Yoga Straps (Beginners, Restorative yoga, Yin Yoga)

- Shelving unit (Ikea £39 each) 

- 2 Mirrors (For alignment £70 each)

I have already bought essential oil diffuser, Yoga Vinyl Sticker to go on the wall, Yoga Poster & some decorations. 

Any help would be amazing right now. I am very enthusiastic about enhancing Whitby's yoga experience. 

This space will be used to run monthly workshops, private yoga, group classes. I have put a deposit on to teacher training course to teach children.
