We are seeing more and more individuals and families across the city struggling with the cost of living, unemployment, lack of affordable housing and poor mental and physical health. More than 23,000 children are living in poverty in Derby, this on average is higher than other cities across the UK. More than 10,000 people are on the waiting list for social housing in Derby.
We provide 225 homes and personalised support services for a fresh start in life through our supported housing pathways. We provide opportunities to gain qualifications, skills and employment through our college and unemployment programmes. Our Community Hub provides support and advice as well as practical services for any barriers and we partnership work with other support organisations to make sure our beneficiaries have the best opportunity to move along their positive pathway.
