Yeovil Distance Project 400km Relay Ultramarathon

Aim

Crowdfunder for the Yeovil Distance Project 400km relay ultramarathon associated costs - £6,000.

This is our mechanism for receiving funds to cover our £6,000 event costs - including logistics costs, insurance, medical indemnity, medical staffing costs, ambulance fees, emergency drugs, emergency resuscitation equipment and other associated miscellaneous costs.

At the Yeovil Distance Project, we recognise that survivors of gender-based violence are the true endurance athletes - So, we have built endurance into the core of everything we do.

Uniting against gender-based violence by promoting the story of Tirop’s Angels, we have developed a free educational “Endurance Running Teaching Series”; an “Endurance Running Emergency Medicine Conference”; and our flagship 400km hospital-team relay ultramarathon from Lands End to Yeovil Hospital.

But it’s not about the physical 400km, as the true distance we cover is in how far we promote the conversation surrounding gender-based violence.
