Aim
The community pantry aims to help reduce food waste and to help those struggling financially with food and hygiene products.
Yateley Industries was incorporated in 1948 as a private company limited by guarantee. This means that the company has no shareholders. It has been registered as a charity since 1948.
Our community pantry first opened during the pandemic in early 2021 to help those struggling with putting food on the table. Since then, we have accumulated almost 500 members (one member per household) and now offer a wide range of fresh, cupboard and frozen food as well as hygiene products for the small fee of £5 per visit.
Co-op Local Community Fund has provided £2,111 of match funding
