To provide marginalised BAME people with advocacy and support at crisis or key transition points in their lives.
Our officers assist individuals on a range of issues, including Discrimination & Hate Crime; Housing; Education; Social Services & Residential Care Planning; Finance and Benefits; Health and Mental ill-health; Transport; Domestic / Elder abuse; Family issues and disputes; Language barriers; Asylum and immigration.
Our organisation advises and supports the United Nations and UK Government, Welsh Assembly Government, Police and Crime Commissioners and the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales along with Local Authorities and local service providers by researching and developing policy, advising on methods of engagement and ensuring equality objectives are robust and adhered to.
