Aim
The refurbishment of this much loved and well used community hub which serves the whole community and has done so for 25 years.
The Old School is a great community centre situated in the heart of the village.
It provides social, art and leisure activities to young, old and in-betweens such as Lego Club and Toddler Singing, Art Groups , Musical events (both classical, jazz and popular), and the amazing Friday Lunch (a 3 course meal with tea/coffee for £9).
The building itself is in need of some serious TLC, becoming increasingly dilapidated and needs a lot of money to bring it up to standard. Work will be done as and when bids are successful. There is a possibility of match funding for this appeal so your donation could double in value, please help make this a success
It serves the whole parish and adjoining areas with people travelling from as far afield as Saltash to enjoy the events and facilities.
The Old School hires rooms for organisations and meetings such as Cornwall Council, The Stoke Climsland Show, Local History Group, Love to Move, Pilates It can also cater for private events and celebrations
The refurbishment of the Old School will enable it to continue to provide its varied and valuable services to all comers with as much success in the next 25 years as it has in the past 25
