Aim

Our aim is simple: to safeguard the club against future energy price hikes by installing solar panels & batteries.

Established in 1849, Weekley & Warkton Cricket Club has grown through the passion of local players, volunteers, and supporters who believe in the value of grassroots sport. What started as a village club has developed into a thriving, inclusive environment where players of all ages and abilities can take part.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our junior section, strengthened our senior teams, and built a culture that reflects the true spirit of cricket; respect, teamwork, and enjoyment. We’ve worked hard to create opportunities not just to play, but to learn, volunteer, and be part of something bigger.

Today, the club isn’t just about cricket on a Saturday, it’s about community. It’s about giving young players a place to grow, giving adults a way to stay active and connected, and ensuring the future of the game in our area.

We’re still growing driven by the same goal we’ve always had: to make cricket accessible, enjoyable, and at the heart of our community.
