'When the Sky Begins to Spin' Short Film Fund!

Aim
Hi :)) My name is Grace and I am seeking funding for my debut short film 'When the Sky Begins to Spin'.
This short film follows two best friends, Aleyia and Sasha, as they navigate an evening of ‘unexpected’ news; it is a slice of life drama highlighting the value and uniqueness of female friendship, and the importance of liberating suppressed emotion.
Grace is a writer, actor and director who studied at The BRIT School. It was there that she first discovered a passion for writing, and wrote her first one-act play. The process of seeing the director bring her written work to life sparked a deeper love for storytelling and inspired her creative journey greatly. Since then, Grace has been working as an actor in the industry both on stage and on screen, having recently won the Camden Fringe Award at the 2024 OFFIES, and has been writing in her own time working on a six-part TV drama, a feature film, and this short film.
Drawing on her experiences, Grace's work often explores themes of female friendship, identity, and the power of catharsis. She seeks to craft stories that feel raw and real, often grounded in personal or socially relevant narratives.
Your donations would help towards production costs such as: cast, crew, equipment hire, insurance, location permits, sets, costume, food/refreshments; and post-production costs including: editing, sound engineering, film festival entry fees, and SO much more...
