Women's Street Watch Middlesbrough

Aim

We're raising £3,000 to cover a year's running costs, helping protect women and girls and supporting emergency services in Middlesbrough.

We're Women's Street Watch Middlesbrough, and we're here to make Middlesbrough's nightlife safer for everyone. Our aim is to reduce the pressure on our emergency services and actively work to tackle violence against women and girls in our community. We do this by patrolling the bars and pubs in Middlesbrough, handing out flip flops, water, foil drink covers and providing minor first aid. We are there as a supportive presence but also as a deterrent. 

Your support for our running costs is incredibly important. By covering these essential expenses for one year, you'll ensure we can continue our patrols, keeping an eye out for those who might need help and providing a vital service in our town centre. This means we can keep working towards a safer environment for women and girls, and help our emergency services focus on critical incidents. We are WSW Middlesbrough but we do try and help everyone as much as we can - this includes handing cereal bars out to those experiencing homelessness.
