I am Rufus Lewis, a solo rower participating in the World's Toughest Row 2026, aiming to raise as much as possible for the incredible charity Caudwell Youth. This challenge involves not only the physical and mental demands of rowing an ocean but also a significant financial burden. I need to raise around £180,000 just to reach the start line. Your support is crucial, every contribution will go towards covering these costs. Any funds raised beyond this will be donated to Caudwell Youth.
Competing in the World's Toughest Row embodies my passion for adventure. What could be more thrilling than tackling "The World's Toughest Row"? I expect to be pushed beyond my mental and physical limits in this incredible endeavour.
The Race
The World's Toughest Row is an extreme endurance rowing race and is the premier event in ocean rowing. Competitors from across the globe test themselves against the might of the Atlantic Ocean. The Challenge will take me 3,000 miles, unsupported, from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to English Harbour in Antigua and Barbuda, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Charity
Through this challenge, I aim to spotlight the crucial need for supporting youth development and opportunities by raising funds for Caudwell Youth. Your sponsorship can make a significant difference; any contribution is greatly appreciated and will help us achieve our goal.
Thank you,
Rufus Lewis
