The Prize
This incredible painting of Charlie Hatton, by Forest of Dean artist Sean Wales, has been donated for the Prize Draw to help Dean Trail Volunteers maintain and build new mountain biking trails in the Forest of Dean. The painting, signed by the legend Charlie himself, just after winning the title of World Champion in Fort William this year is a fantastic prize for any mountain biking enthusiast - and could be yours for just one ticket!
The Cause
Dean Trail Volunteers are an independent group of riders from all disciplines and backgrounds, working in partnership with Forestry England to develop and maintain the official mountain bike trails in the Forest of Dean. Our aim is to create and maintain a variety of enjoyable and challenging XC and DH trails for locals and visitors alike and to positively promote mountain biking in the area. You may have seen some of the awesome new skills areas and trails for progression being built recently - all thanks to volunteers' hard work and donations / fundraising efforts from people like you.
We depend on support and generous donations from the MTB community to enable us to continue developing and maintaining the trails. From spades to stone to pens and paper, all the money raised helps to pay for everything that we need to get the job done.
We figured that if you're looking to get someone a Christmas present, then why not donate to a good cause at the same time - enter a mate or family member into the prize draw and they might be a lucky winner over Christmas.
