Aim

Workers Planet is a political education event at the intersection of the climate crisis, working-class power, and trade union organising

Workers Planet is a collective of trade unionists and workers with a dedication for worker-led climate strategy aligned with the trade union movement and keen to create new organising connections.

We will run our one-day event again in 2026 on Saturday 12th September to run just before the Trade Union Congress as an alternative space. But we need your support to make it happen. Tickets will be free this year but we welcome donations to help us.

The first event in September 2025 sold out, brought together over 150 participants, and featured a combination of structured panel discussions, participatory workshops, and informal networking opportunities. The 2026 programme is still taking shape but will include workers assemblies on AI and Housing Justice as well as sessions about countering the far right and climate denial, just transition and worker-climate organising case studies. We will also provide space for open sessions that will emerge during the event.
