To expand upon a successful start up microbrewery, create jobs and bring more weird and wonderful beer to Cornwall and beyond!

This will enable me to invest in more equipment to take the brewery to the next level - chiefly more barrels for barrel ageing several of my beers and money towards an electric van.
Woodman's Wild Ale has achieved great things in its first 18 months having become the 3rd highest rated Cornish brewery on Untappd and is firmly flying the freak flag for farmhouse, barrel-aged and sour beers in the far west!
Currently the core business is just one man (and his trusty dog, Alba) with lots of fantastic support from family and friends, but the plan is to create several jobs and become a thriving hive of industry and experimentation as well as a destination for lovers of the more unusual side of craft beer.
To keep up with demand and get more great, seasonal beer out in to the world we are looking to brew larger quantities more often, and for this we need to buy some bigger kit as the second hand set up we started out on is now just too small. Bigger and better kit will allow us to continue to improve and produce ever more exciting wild beer for you all to enjoy!
As the first and foremost Cornish brewery specialising in mixed fermentation beer, with a particular focus on foraged and wild ingredients, Woodman's Wild Ale is becoming one of the most talked about new breweries on the UK craft beer scene and was recently featured on BBC2's Back to the Land with Kate Humble.
Stuart Woodman has been a teacher of foraging and wild food cookery for a number of years, sharing his expertise and knowledge with hundreds of people young and old, through his work with organisations such as Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Riverford Organic, the South West Coast Path Association and Port Eliot Festival. Combining his passion for nature and the outdoors with a love of food and drink, Stuart is on a mission to bring beer to a wider audience and to elevate it to a similar standing to wine when it comes to pairing with food.
