Woodland Terrace Emergency Fund

Aim

After a dramatic roof parapet collapse on our terrace, 10 homes were evacuated. We all remain displaced and with little hope of returning.

We have set up this page for the residents of Woodland Terrace, Charlton. Our lives came crashing down on Saturday August 22 when a huge chunk of the parapet collapsed. This led to us being evacuated, road closure and dangerous structure notices placed on our properties. You may have seen the BBC news item: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cyvzpn4808no

The lack of a specific cause means many of us are being told by our insurers that our policies will not cover the necessary repairs and renovation to make our homes liveable. We are asking for donations to help us cover the costs of what is needed to get us back in our beloved homes. We will all be so grateful for any contribution you could make.
