Woodhouse Park Activity Centre is owned by Avon County Scouts and provides activities and residential experiences to young people from across the South West and beyond.
The Centre is mostly run by volunteers and all donations will be used to maintain and develop the Centre.
What do we offer?
Woodhouse Park has two accommodation lodges, a tented village and plenty of camping space. There are also over 25 activities at the Centre, ranging from archery to zorbs.
What do we need?
We are always looking to improve the Centre, but usually this has a high cost, which is where we need your help to raise funds. For example, many of our staff and volunteers stay at the Centre in the staff accommodation building, however, this building is at the end of it's life, being draughty and cold. This means it costs a lot to heat and requires constant maintenance to keep the building open. We would like to replace this building with a new, modern one that is much more energy efficient and a nicer environment to stay.
How can I help?
The simplest way to help the Centre, is to make a donation. All donations will be spent at the Centre to develop and improve the facilities.
We welcome new volunteers to help run and maintain the Centre, visit our website for more information and to sign up. We have jobs that suit everyone!
