We aim to raise money to partially fund improvements for the facilities to reach an higher standard.
Woodbridge Cricket Club is an grass roots cricket club offering cricket to players of all abilities and ages, Based in the lovely picturised Ash Park in Campsea Ashe, Suffolk.

Following on from the very successful home Common Wealth Games, The first in history to Cricket featuring, the club's committee has made several pledges to its members in the last month to increase the amount of cricket that is played at Ash Park, These include;
- Bringing Women's and Girls cricket to Woodbridge and the surrounding areas, Following the amazing attendance and interest in the England women's side at the Common Wealth Games, We feel it is time to bring specialist female cricket to Woodbridge!

- Creating more training opportunities at Ash Park for weaker or less confident members of the club to improve there skills and physical activity
- Bringing Junior cricket to Ash Park on a full time basis after playing a few junior games

Birmingham 2022 was an historical commonwealth games with the inclusion of women cricket for the first time, It was truly sensational to see record crowds, interest and support for the game this past summer, With England narrowing missing out on an medal! We at Woodbridge CC are keen to not let this iconic games for cricket go without leaving an strong legacy for Women and Girls to play cricket.

Depending on how much is raised we will look to spend the money with the following projects in mind
- An Purchase of an New square roller for the club, This will increase the quality of pitches we produce at Ash Park, to allow more games to be played on better standard of facilities.

- Installation of two new wickets onto the square to accommodate the planned additional games

- The Installation of an all weather artificial wicket at Ash Park to allow junior games not to be effected by weather and allow consistent bounce when training.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
